Wadeema Law
The UAE Government launched the Federal Law No. 3 of 2016 Concerning Child Rights, also known as WADEEMA'S LAW. The law ensures safety and protection of children in the UAE. Federal Law No. 3 of 2016 on the Rights of the Child, known as the ‘Wadeema’ Law, affirms children’s rights of living, survival and development, and provides all necessary opportunities to facilitate these rights. The law also protects children from all forms of neglect, exploitation, abuse and any physical and/or psychological violence.
